Staff of the Registrar
The Registrar is responsible for the day to day running of the College. He directs and coordinates college registration activities: Provide leadership to plan, organize and manage all of the activities related to the Records and Registration Department, including serving as the official authorized keeper of the College's Students Records System software and upgrades. He directs the activities of the College Registrar's Office to include registration of students, maintenance of student records, classroom scheduling, and related functions, to provide a central and consistent registration operation of the Dominica State College.
The Assistant Registrar is responsible for assisting with student academic and attendance record keeping. This position includes compiling, maintaining, and tracking students’ academic information and records for internal and external analysis and/or use. This position acts as the central records facilitator for permanent academic information on current and prior students. The Assistant Registrar shares the responsibility for the successful enrollment and persistence of students. Incumbent must assure that the DSC's philosophy: quality services to clients.
The Records officer is the primary officer in charge of maintaining the records of the Office of the Registrar. She processes transcripts requests, status letters and other related documents in a timely manner and maintains the students records.
The Information Officer is responsible for maintaining the office, and performing office functions. She also serves as the primary source of information for walk-in and phone participants. The Information Officers also carries out numerous support functions for the Office of the Registrar.
